I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Fort Collins where I also attended Colorado State University (Go Rams!). After graduating college with a degree in Accounting, I started working as an auditor for my first CPA firm. From there my career grew to work in two other CPA firms in Denver as a Senior Consultant and as an Outsourced Accounting Manager. I also worked as a Controller for a SaaS company, a residential real estate broker, and a retirement community. All together I have been balancing books and producing financial statements for over 17 years. In January 2023, I opened Book Balanced which had been in my dreams for many years.
I am an accountant to my core and love working with numbers, processes, and organization! I have many years of experience and I am excited to share what I have learned and experienced.
